Try
some Organic Ghee. We were extremely grateful when
John Revolinski sent us a free sample of his delicious
organic ghee. We are hooked now and thought perhaps you would
like to try some for yourself. Our personal favorite is pouring
it over "hot air popped" organic popcorn then settling
in for a movie.
It's good on everything and we've had it on toast, muffins,
vegies, and if you like batter frying there is nothing better
for flavor.
What is ghee?
Clarified butter, prepared by slowly boiling for
many hours--allowing milk solids and water to separate, leaving
the clear, golden, oily part of the butter. It can lasts many
months without refrigeration, just be careful and use dry
serving utensils free of water or other foods.
Ghee
is the preferred ingredient in many recipies, especially in
French and Indian cuisine. It can be heated high enough to
fry foods with wonderful results. Imparts a rich, savory flavor.
Spoon
onto steamed vegetables (especially broccoli), mashed potatoes,
rice and other grains. Bake the world's best cookies with it!
Ghee
is said to have curative and rejuvenative effects
according to Ayur-Veda, the ancient natural health system
of India. It is used to aid digestion, help eliminate toxins,
and prevent blistering and scarring from burns.
