Are Intent yoga
bags waterproof?
Only a ‘Dry Bag’ with welded seams and roll-down flaps
are truly water proof. Our bags are water resistant. Both the external
fabric and lining are urethane coated and will withstand a good deal
of moisture. We left a bag in the rain (a downpoor, remember we're
located in the Pacific Northwest) for over an hour and everything
inside was still dry.
How should I wash my bag?
Please wash your bag in cold water and line dry. DO NOT PUT YOUR NYLON
BAG IN THE DRYER. We repeat DO NOT! Clothes dryers have a tendency
to get very, very hot melting the nylon your bag is made of, making
a very big mess. We also recommend cleaning with a damp cloth.
What’s with the reflective trim?
For your safety we use Scotchlite Trim by 3M, a reflective material
utilizing a technology known as retroreflection. It helps the eye
perceive light during nighttime and low-light conditions Retroreflection
occurs when light rays are returned directly to its source. Since
very little light is scattered, retroreflective material appears brightest
to an observer near the original light source, such as the driver
of a vehicle with their lights on. Simply put...we hope our bags keep
you from getting seriously hurt by making you more visible to distracted
drivers.

Why isn’t there
a cell phone pocket?
We feel yoga practice is a time to get away from daily stress and
chaos. Therefore, in keeping with the principals of yoga, and, out
of respect for instructors and studios alike we didn’t design
one. For those of you who absolutely can’t live with out your
phone within easy reach...we’ll consider putting one on future
designs. Though there is likely to be a very legible label asking
you to “turn it off”.
Why does my mat get stuck when I try to
put it back at the end of practice?
Ah, the perversity of inanimate objects. It ain’t called a sticky
mat for nothing. May we recommend holding the bag upright from the
duffle handle shifting the weight of the items in the other compartments
away from the mat tube, then shake the bag as you insert the mat.
Sometimes the mat wants to flop open before getting it to the opening,
in which case you’ll want to grasp the end of the mat before
guiding it in. You may also want to check how you rolled your mat...or
maybe you just have too darn much stuff in there.
Why camouflage?
We certainly did not intend to offend any traditional yogis, we simply
thought it looked cool. We also thought yogi urban warriors might
like it too. We were right. Our camouflage yoga bag has been spotted
in New York, Miami, Seattle and the DC area, not to mention Costa
Rica, Hawaii and Jamaica.

How do I get the strap off?
Remove the snap hooks from the D-rings, slide off one shoulder strap
and pull through the D-rings. You can stow the strap inside. We definitely
recommend removing the strap if you check it at the airline counter,
otherwise it could get caught somewhere between the terminal and the
cargo hold and if that happens we are not responsible.
Can I order a custom bag?
Well...sorry, but not at this time. Perhaps in the future when we
are able to hire some help.
When will you have
other styles and sizes?
We’re working on it. We (me and anyone I can convince to help)
are a small company, with a to do list growing longer everyday. Please
continue to check back often, ‘more shall be revealed’.
Why are your bags so expensive?
Multiple-separate compartments, domestic (Made in the USA) top quality
fabric and zippers, interior mat compartment, fully lined and made
by local craftspeople earning a decent wage. Worth every penny...
